KILL DEVIL HILL: 'Leave It All Behind' Video Released
February 14, 2014"Leave It All Behind", the new video from KILL DEVIL HILL — the band featuring legendary drummer Vinny Appice (DIO, BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN & HELL) alongside Rex Brown (PANTERA, DOWN) on bass, Mark Zavon (RATT, W.A.S.P., 40 CYCLE HUM) on guitar and Jason "Dewey" Bragg (PISSING RAZORS) on vocals — can be seen below. The song is taken from KILL DEVIL HILL's sophomore album, "Revolution Rise", which sold around 2,150 copies in the United States in its first week of release.
Comments Brown: "'Leave It All Behind' was shot with a very different approach for us. It's a story board video that intertwines the band with a guy that has faced some apocalyptic demons in his own mind.
"We shot the video at an old missile site in Southern California that had been burned out by fires years ago.
"The story hits very close to home with the lyrical content of the song, which makes it even more surreal and sublime. We'll leave the rest up to your interpretation!"
Released on October 29, 2013 via Century Media Records, "Revolution Rise" was produced by KILL DEVIL HILL and Jeff Pilson (DOKKEN, FOREIGNER, DIO) and was mixed by Jay Ruston (STONE SOUR, ANTHRAX, STEEL PANTHER). The cover artwork was created by Sam Shearon, who has previously worked with ROB ZOMBIE, IRON MAIDEN and FEAR FACTORY, to name just a few.
